Hi, Luisa, I'm from Brazil and I've been following your work since I read "My Kitchen in Berlin", in Portuguese. I fell in love with Berlin after I started to study German, and first went there to do a language vacation course, back in 2007. I would return so many times as the distance and my bank account would allow, and then, 2015 my sister went to live in the city I know better then any Brazilian city, besides mine - which is São Paulo. I love your book recommendations - sometimes I ask for my sister to buy some and bring to me - and your texts somehow connect me again with the Berlin spirit. Thanks for all that!
I am delighted! I was in Berlin this past weekend staying at the Moxy. I happened to wander in to Aldimashq without the benefit remembering this post! The food gods were smiling upon me (and the Schwarma was amazing)
