I've loved this behind-the-scenes series so much and was very happy indeed to see your voice pop up in my inbox again :) I cannot wait to hold your new cookbook in my hands! My family and I are visiting my brother in Germany for two weeks this June and I'm excited to finally travel north to Berlin, even for just four days. I'm re-reading past posts of yours to get recommendations!

Wow! Talk about a stress inducing project. I cannot imagine the process of bringing forth a cookbook like this. You are deserving of a get away complete with Margaritas or the like. I will just love having this book in my hands. Congratulations!

an absolutely lovely read. I love getting to dip into Xenia and Elena's work, both of whom are new to me, which is quite exciting. It often feels like there are no new people to discover (which of course is not the case, only our worlds become very small on the internet somehow). I'm like a kid in a candy shop tonight on my ipad flipping through their work and knowing how they will light up your pages. Also: darling little Bruno on that stool. Precious.

I'm in California--and I'm excited to see the book--especially after reading about these photo shoots. My copy is supposed to arrive tomorrow before 10 PM (from Amazon) and at the same time I ordered "Classic German Baking" --which is arriving with it. The German half of me is very excited!

It arrived! and it's beautiful--and so much delicious-looking food--just in time for our cold weather, too!
